Two wide bands of naturally dyed sheep wool, crossed over the foot and lined with leather where they meet your skin. Turn one over and the sole carries the Inca wall of the Twelve-Angled Stone, in Cusco, where a family of shoemakers makes every pair.

EU 38, 39 and 40. Peruvian sizing is the same as EU.

Two wide crossover straps, woven from naturally dyed sheep wool and lined with leather.
Leather footbed. Slips on.
Rubber sole, its tread drawn from the Inca stone wall of the Twelve-Angled Stone in Cusco.
Made by a family of shoemakers in Cusco, cut and finished by hand.
Comes with a branded calico bag.

Care Guide

Your shoes are not made for water. If they get wet, let them dry naturally, away from direct heat and sun.

Woven wool (sheep wool, alpaca or a blend, depending on the pair): spot clean only. Brush off dust; blot a mark with a cloth and cold water, with a little pH-neutral wool soap for a stubborn one. Never wash, soak or machine wash.

Leather (footbed and lining): care for it as you would any good leather. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. When it looks dry, work in a little colourless leather conditioner and buff off the excess, keeping it off the wool.

Rubber sole: brush or wipe it clean. Like every sole, it wears down over time.

Before you put them away, brush off the dust and keep them in the calico bag they come in, in a cool, dry place. Never in plastic, which traps moisture.
